ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE INSTALLING AN OS UPDATE!

Although newer builds of the OS attempt to preserve all user data, you should still make a full backup before updating.

Use the "Raw SYX" file backup to ensure all song data, instrument and configuration settings can be restored completely.

On the first boot-up after installing the new OS, hold the SONG key until you are prompted to wipe the memory.
Then re-load your backed-up data.
